Joe Edwards – NCA Photographer
Joe Edwards is an avid amateur photographer. From his first pictures taken with a Kodak Brownie camera in the 1950s to today’s more sophisticated digital cameras, Joe has concentrated on nature, wildlife, candid scenes, and anything that interests him.
Close-up photos of flowers and bugs, allowing the viewer to see the subject’s intricate patterns, have been a major theme. He has also created a series titled Vanishing America, a portfolio of barns and buildings slowly disappearing through lack of maintenance.
Joe became involved with recording NCA activities when his wife volunteered his services to take candid shots during the NCA convention in Minneapolis in 2019. Following a break during COVID, Joe has been honored to continue recording NCA Convention happenings since 2022.
Joe was appointed to the NCA Hall of Fame at the NCA Membership Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina, in summer 2026.
